Five Companies Celebrates Five Years of Success

September 2023 marked a milestone for Five Companies, LLC—five years in business. The company, comprised of three Houston-based civil construction firms: Boyer Inc., Main Lane Industries, Ltd. (a subsidiary of mc2 civil, inc.), and Reytec Construction Resources, Inc., was designed to support large-scale projects in the Texas Gulf Coast area. When the company was just starting out in 2018, Principal Mark L. Boyer of Boyer, Inc. was asked what success would look like for this new partnership.

In five years, Five Companies has been contracted for $193M worth of local projects and highlights the following successes:

• Qualified by the West Harris County Regional Water Authority to pursue local waterline construction work for Houston’s Surface Water Supply Project
• City of Houston’s Northeast Water Purification Plant Expansion
• City of Houston’s 108” waterline from Milner to Aldine Westfield
• City of Houston’s 108” waterline from Willis Street to Imperial Valley
• North Harris County Regional Water Authority’s Alan Rendl Regional Pump Station
